The MDA Government celebrated its 4 Years of its formation on the 8th of March, 2022 at the State Central Library, Shillong.
On completion of 4 Years of the MDA government, the honorable Chief Minister, along with the council of Ministers and Chief Secretary, Smt. R.V. Suchiang (I.A.S) released a Report documented in a book titled “Meghalaya on the move”
To mark the achievements and progress of the MDA government, a film was made depicting the interventions and initiatives taken up by the government. PRIME Meghalaya was one of the Programs highlighted in the film on how it has benefitted the State as a whole in making entrepreneurship a preferred career choice for the youth and the people of the State through a holistic approach which therefore gave a platform for the entrepreneurs in shaping and excelling in their business.
An inside of the PRIME Startup Hub and testimonials by entrepreneurs was shown on how PRIME Meghalaya has benefitted them. They expressed their thankfulness to the Honorable Chief Minister, Shri. Conrad K. Sangma and the PRIME team for guiding and supporting them through thick and thin in their journey towards success. It also showcased the products of our PRIME entrepreneurs’ and focused on empowering women entrepreneurs.
Further, a speech was delivered by Miss Seilydor Sohkhia, Co- founder of Eco Ri Startup, incubated at PRIME Meghalaya from Cohort 2.0. She expressed her gratitude to the PRIME team for their immense help in shaping and promoting their business and shared her journey as an entrepreneur. Additionally, Miss Seilydor reminded others on how PRIME encourages youth to explore alternative methods of employment and become job creators rather than mere job seekers.
The honorable Chief Minister addressing on the occasion, said that over the last for years, the government has ensured speedy progress and today the State is ranked as one of the top performing States in the Country and pledged to make Meghalaya among the top 10 states in 10 years.
