Founded by Mr. Wanlang Lakuna, Machine Khot Kwai started during the Covid-19 pandemic. With a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Lakuna developed the first automated betel nut cutter in Meghalaya. Inspired by his mother’s struggles with peeling betel nuts, he used his skills to create a convenient solution. What began in a small shop has grown into a successful business, benefiting the local community and economy.
