Skill Training Program on Animal Feed Formulation & Production Inaugurated in West Khasi Hills

The Kyrsiew Pynroi Agrofarming Development Organization (KPADO) inaugurated its 45-day Skill Training Program on Animal Feeds Formulation & Production, funded by the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS). The event marked an important step toward strengthening agri-based entrepreneurship and rural livelihoods in the region.

Event Highlights

The inaugural program was chaired by Shri Bonney Kharbani, Founder of KPADO.
Shri Gabriel Wahlang, MLA, Nongstoin and Adviser to the Government of Meghalaya (Mining, etc.), graced the occasion as Chief Guest and officially launched the training program.

    Strengthening Collaboration for Growth

    During the event, Mr. Sreyance Modi (AlteRe Innovation) and Shri Bonney Kharbani (KPADO) discussed potential areas of collaboration and agreed to formalize their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to be signed by November 2025.

    This initiative underscores PRIME Meghalaya’s commitment to supporting skill development, entrepreneurship, and collaboration between startups working in the agriculture and allied sectors—building a stronger and more sustainable rural economy.
