PRIME Meghalaya Showcases Innovation at Shillong Literary Festival V

PRIME Meghalaya participated in the Shillong Literary Festival, Edition V, with a dedicated stall showcasing the work of our entrepreneurs both rural creators and emerging urban startups. The three-day event, held from 20th to 22nd November at Ward’s Lake, Shillong, offered a vibrant platform for visibility, learning and engagement.

Visitors from across the country explored a diverse range of locally made and locally built products, appreciating the craftsmanship, innovation and cultural identity behind each piece and gaining valuable firsthand experience in customer interaction and market exposure.

Shillong Literary Festival is truly bringing the hidden gems of Meghalaya to the world. Because here, entrepreneurs go beyond labels. They are not just farmers or artisans, not just designers or tech innovators, they are entrepreneurs shaping Meghalaya’s growing economic story.

For generations, people across our state have cultivated, crafted, preserved, coded and created. Their skills were often unseen, their stories unheard. But today, their identity is evolving not because they have changed but because the world is finally seeing them differently.

Through PRIME, whether rural or urban, creators across Meghalaya are stepping into a new space as business owners and brand builders. Incubation, diagnostics, licensing, product testing, packaging, design and market access are now the systems that help transform skills and ideas into thriving enterprises.
