PRIME Meghalaya proudly participated in the Meghalaya Spice Festival 2026, held at Jio World Drive, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai, from 27th February to 1st March 2026.

As part of the 140-member State delegation led by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Meghalaya, PRIME facilitated the participation of five supported startups, accompanied by four PRIME team members, to showcase Meghalaya’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A dedicated PRIME stall brought together products from 44 entrepreneurs across PRIME Rural and PRIME Urban, highlighting the diversity and market readiness of Meghalaya’s enterprises. The display featured over 13 product categories, including spices, honey, pickles, tea, handmade soaps, handloom products, stone carvings, and other value-added food and handicraft items.

The participating PRIME entrepreneurs were:

• Anumahasa Sna – Braves Entreprise (PRIME Urban)

• Sanijaijai Khriem – Matil Spice & Food Processing (PRIME Urban)

• Babitdor Kharsohtun – Ceefle Venture (PRIME Urban)

• Kyrsiew Ryngkhlem – Kyrsiew Organics (PRIME Rural)

• Aiphidalin Wahlang – Trep I Mei (PRIME Rural)

The festival provided a valuable platform for direct engagement with institutional buyers, retailers, and exporters from Mumbai and other key markets. Through structured interactions and buyer–seller meetings, PRIME-supported entrepreneurs explored procurement enquiries, export opportunities, and potential partnerships.

PRIME’s participation reflects its continued commitment to strengthening market access, enhancing brand visibility, and enabling Meghalaya’s entrepreneurs to scale beyond regional boundaries. From local producers to national platforms — PRIME continues to support enterprises in expanding their reach and building sustainable growth pathways.
