Marking a significant step towards her entrepreneurship journey, Sushmi Mazumdar, founder of The Taste of Shillong, inaugurated her first retail outlet at Dreamland Arcade, Police Bazaar, Shillong.
Held at the Dreamland Arcade, Police Bazaar, Shillong, the inauguration began with a welcome speech by Luziana Wahlang, followed by the ribbon-cutting for the inauguration of the retail outlet by Smti. Saloni Verma, IAS, Executive Director, Meghalaya Basin Management Agency.
The Taste of Shillong makes homemade ice cream using local fruits and food products found exclusively in Meghalaya. The ice cream is made from scratch and is preservative-free. Their innovative flavours are Khasi Rice Ice Cream, Sohiong ice cream, Star Fruit ice cream, and many more, having developed more than 25 flavours successfully
