This enlightening workshop was carefully structured to provide aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with a profound understanding of critical facets of entrepreneurship and business management.

Day 1 commenced with an in-depth exploration of the pros and cons of sole proprietorship. Participants were immersed in discussions that elucidated why this entity type is particularly well-suited for unorganized sectors and medium & small industries. The session likely served as an eye-opener, shedding light on the unique characteristics and challenges associated with this form of business ownership. Part 2 focused on the advantages of registering a business as a private limited (Ltd) company. Attendees had the opportunity to grasp the key reasons why entrepreneurs who aspire to scale their businesses should consider this business structure. The session touched upon the advantages such as limited liability, easier access to funding, and the legal framework that surrounds private limited companies, making it a compelling choice for ambitious entrepreneurs.

Day 2 started with a deep dive into the process of company formation. This segment provided practical insights into the steps and legal requirements necessary to establish a company, offering participants a clear roadmap to initiate their entrepreneurial journey. Topics such as business registration, compliance, and essential documentation were covered in this segment.

Following the discussion on company formation, the workshop turned its attention to post-Incorporation matters. This part offered insights into how to effectively manage and operate a registered business, ensuring that it complies with ongoing legal and financial obligations. Participants gained a clearer understanding of the responsibilities involved in managing a business once it’s up and running.

The workshop culminated with a focus on Valuation. Understanding how to assess the value of a company is paramount for entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders alike. During this session, participants were introduced to the methods and factors that come into play when determining a company’s worth, providing them with essential knowledge to make informed financial decisions.

This collaborative workshop aimed to equip participants with the expertise required to make informed decisions regarding entity type, navigate the complexities of business registration, and effectively manage and value their companies.
