PRIME ENTREPRENEUR OF THE MONTH

The Entrepreneur of the Month competition is PRIME Meghalaya’s newest initiative to celebrate and reward the state’s most inspiring entrepreneurial stories. Every month, we shine a spotlight on one outstanding entrepreneur whose journey reflects innovation, resilience, and the spirit of Meghalaya’s growing startup ecosystem.

Through this recognition, PRIME seeks to not only honor individual achievements but also inspire others to dream big, take risks, and turn ideas into thriving enterprises.

We are proud to announce the Entrepreneur of the Month for the month of October. For this first edition, we have two winners!

PRIME extends a heartfelt congratulations to Biachisa M Marak, founder of Chisa’s Home Bakes and Ice-Cream Hub from North Garo Hills and Bakyrshan Mawlong, Founder of Juicy and Boosty from East Khasi Hills.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Each month, entrepreneurs from across Meghalaya will have the chance to showcase their business, share their story, and compete for the title of Entrepreneur of the Month

The winner will receive:

Cash prize of ₹50,000

Feature on PRIME Meghalaya’s website and social media channels

Media coverage and promotional opportunities

Networking access to PRIME’s ecosystem

ELIGIBILITY

Open to entrepreneurs operating in Meghalaya across all sectors

Must not be a government employee.

Must be a resident of Meghalaya

Must be 18 years of age

Can be a registered or unregistered entity

Have not received any loans or grants previously from PRIME MBMA or any Line Department exceeding Rs. 50,000/-

APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Must apply from the PRIME Meghalaya Portal and have a PRIME ID
  2. Shortlisting based on innovation, scalability, social impact, and business performance
  3. Final Judging by a panel
  4. Winner Announcement will be revealed at the beginning of the month following the competition period on PRIME Meghalaya’s official platforms
