2-Day Workshop for 15 PwD Entrepreneurs from the Garo Hills Region was inaugurated on 26th February 2026 at Prime Hub Tura, West Garo Hills, starting at 9:30 AM.
The program began with welcome address by Mr. Bryan Silkam R. Marak, Manager (Administration), PRIME Tura. Mr. Dylan Syiem, Planning Officer, SRCDA, introduced the dignitaries and participants.
Mr. Sunny Mawlong, Managing Director, Hundredfold Academy, Shillong, delivered a motivational speech encouraging participants to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills. Smt. M.O.T. Sangma, District Social Welfare Officer, Tura, and Dr. N.P. Laloo, MS Ortho, Additional CEO, SSIRPD, also addressed the gathering and assured continued support for the empowerment of PwD entrepreneurs.The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Smt. Jerry Chingre B. Sangma, Assistant Coordinator, UDID Project, Garo Hills Region, followed by the workshop by Trainer Mr. Sunny Mawlong,Managing Director, Hundredfold Academy,Shillong and Smt. Eva Warjri, Hundredfold Academy Shillong along with two translators Shri. Nimos Sangma and Smt. Chean Chane S. Marak and Shri. Jenkins N Marak.
The workshop aims to enhance business skills, promote self-reliance, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for PwD entrepreneurs in the region.
