The program titled “Our Magnificent Meghalaya – Celebrating 8 Years of the MDA Government” was successfully held on 6th March 2026 at PA Sangma Stadium. The event commemorated eight years of governance and achievements under the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) Government.
The Honourable Chief Minister, along with several Cabinet Ministers and government officials, graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. In their speeches, they highlighted the key milestones, initiatives, and developmental achievements accomplished by the government over the past eight years.
During the program, beneficiaries of the CM Elevate SEED Scheme were presented with cheques to support their entrepreneurial ventures. Additionally, beneficiaries from various government departments were acknowledged and received assistance under different welfare schemes implemented by the state government.
Stalls were also set up at the venue, where many entrepreneurs supported under the PRIME initiative showcased their products and ventures.
The event witnessed the participation of a large number of citizens, officials, and beneficiaries who gathered to celebrate the progress and development achieved over the past eight years. The program concluded successfully, reaffirming the government’s commitment to the continued growth, development, and prosperity of Meghalaya.
