PRIME Meghalaya successfully conducted the CMECC 6.0 Pitch Orientation and Pitching Programme at IHM Shillong on 26th and 27th November 2025, bringing together 80 aspiring entrepreneurs for two days of learning, mentoring and pitching.
Day 1 began with a welcome and a comprehensive overview of the incubation program by Jacqueline A. Swer, AVP- Incubation, who guided participants on the structure, expectations and support available throughout CMECC 6.0. This was followed by an insightful session on creating an effective pitch deck by Sadique Mannan, AVP- Incubation, where entrepreneurs learned the essential elements of a strong business pitch. The incubation team then facilitated a session on the understanding and signing of the MoU, ensuring clarity on responsibilities, terms and program benefits. The day concluded with a group mentoring session, providing personalised guidance to strengthen business concepts ahead of the pitching session.
Day 2 featured the main pitching program, where all 80 entrepreneurs presented their business before a panel of jury members. Each pitch was carefully evaluated to determine the Top 75 entrepreneurs who will proceed in Cohort 6 of CMECC.
The two-day program concluded successfully, marking the completion of a structured and engaging orientation and pitching experience.
