S&E Ventures, a homegrown FMCG venture, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Angie Shirhabs — a startup incubated under PRIME Meghalaya — for the contract manufacturing of premium chicken pickle.

The partnership brings together local entrepreneurship, structured incubation support, and quality-driven manufacturing to introduce “Hoi Kiw”, a brand inspired by a traditional Khasi chant symbolizing pride, identity, and cultural heritage.
Manufactured under strict hygiene protocols and full FSSAI compliance, “Hoi Kiw” aims to set a new benchmark in the regional pickle market by offering a safe, premium, and culturally rooted product for both regional and national consumers.

Under the agreement:
– Angie Shirhabs will lead manufacturing operations with strict quality and safety standards
– S&E Ventures will drive branding, marketing, and distribution

This collaboration highlights how incubation-led support can translate into real market opportunities — strengthening Meghalaya’s food processing sector while promoting local flavors at scale.
The first production cycle is set to begin soon, marking the start of a promising long-term partnership.
