Marking yet another step towards building a homegrown brand and advancing her entrepreneurial journey, Euphinia Nongbyrsaw, founder of Paw-sh Palette, inaugurated the second Pet Parlour located opposite New Dunn Hill, 1st Floor, Nongmynsong Main Market, Shillong.

Supported by PRIME (Promotion and Incubation of Market-Driven Enterprises) in Meghalaya, the venture is set to expand its services to include pet grooming. Scaling operations to effectively match the demands, the Pet Parlour is set to create yet another professional space while elevating the brand’s presence.

Euphinia Nongbyrsaw, founder of Paw-sh Palette, noted that she began her entrepreneurial journey in 2021 directly from her own terrace, initially driven by a simple passion to help her neighbours care for their pets. Recognising a critical need for accessible, professional pet hygiene ranging from basic grooming to managing skin and ear infections, she eventually left her full-time job, secured a business loan, and opened her first salon before expanding to a more central location for her clients’ convenience.

She added that the long-term vision focuses on strengthening the brand and expanding its specialised services to new cities, ensuring high-quality, time-saving care for pet parents across the region. Crediting the State’s entrepreneurial ecosystem for her rapid growth and successful expansion, she stated, “All of this is possible because of PRIME Meghalaya. PRIME has given me immense support; without them, I wouldn’t understand what real business is. It got me incubated for nine months and provided financial help. It also helped me with networking and mentoring.”

Through the support of PRIME Meghalaya, The Paw-sh Palette received essential mentorship, exposure opportunities, incubation support, and guidance that significantly strengthened its entrepreneurial journey. This milestone achievement was made possible through the backing received during Cohort 5 of the PRIME Incubation Program, where the founder was awarded grant assistance that helped turn their vision into reality.
