PRIME Partnership Sector in collaboration with Mr. Anup Narayanan conducted a one-to-one online interactive session with entrepreneurs to explore potential technology collaborations aimed at scaling businesses in Meghalaya. The session focused on Joint Ventures and partnerships across sectors including animal husbandry (piggery and aquaculture), horticulture, precision farming, farm mechanisation, urban farming, and the food & beverage sector.

Activities Conducted/Event Summary:
The interactive session began with an introductory address by Mr. Jefferson Rani, Manager, PRIME IIMCIP, who provided an overview of PRIME Meghalaya and its role in supporting startups in the region. This was followed by a detailed presentation by Mr. Anup Narayanan on potential collaboration avenues in the agri-allied and livestock startup ecosystem, especially focusing on poultry and dairy sectors.

Five startups from Meghalaya participated in the session, where they each presented their business models and the challenges they faced in scaling operations. Mr. Narayanan offered valuable guidance on overcoming these challenges through access to advanced technologies and global best practices.

He also emphasized the importance of drafting a comprehensive company profile detailing the nature of the business, operational challenges, and areas for support. These profiles would help facilitate tailored recommendations and future collaborations.
