On March 15th, 2024, PRIME, SIDBI, and CGST Shillong collaborated to host a workshop aimed at empowering entrepreneurs.
The workshop focused on two key areas: digital commerce platforms and Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance. Participants gained valuable insights into SIDBI’s support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), along with various schemes like ARJANA, SAATH, and STAR.
Additionally, they learned about the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) initiative, which aims to streamline digital marketing for artisans and MSMEs. The importance of GST compliance was also emphasized, with practical guidance provided on registration procedures and compliance measures.
Overall, the workshop provided entrepreneurs with actionable strategies to leverage digital platforms effectively while ensuring compliance with GST regulations.
