On 25th October 2025, the PRIME Incubation and Acceleration Team, along with six promising startups from the PRIME ecosystem, took part in the NGO Mela organized by the Department of Social Work and the Department of Environmental Science at St. Edmund’s College, Shillong. The event was held in collaboration with the college’s Alumni Association and was sponsored by the North Eastern Council, Shillong.
The NGO Mela highlighted the vibrant cultural identity of the region while fostering ideas around community development and socially driven entrepreneurship. PRIME-supported startups showcased their innovations, each focused on addressing real challenges and creating positive impact within Meghalaya and beyond.

Br. Britto Sunil, Principal of St. Edmund’s College, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. He commended PRIME’s continuous efforts in nurturing entrepreneurship across multiple sectors and enabling young founders to build sustainable solutions. During his interaction with the team and the startups, he also expressed interest in future collaborations, including opportunities for select entrepreneurs to present their work at upcoming institutional events.
Participation in such platforms allows PRIME and its startups to engage directly with the community, strengthen partnerships with academic institutions, and promote a thriving entrepreneurial culture in the state.
PRIME remains committed to supporting innovation, encouraging youth-led enterprises, and building a strong ecosystem where ideas can grow and create lasting impact.
