PRIME hosted the Chief Minister’s E-Championship Conclave in Tura, which was especially held for the entrepreneurs of Garo Hills. While Shri. Ram Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate of West Garo Hills gave the welcome note, Shri. Pranjal Konwar, COO, IIMCIP highlighted the benefits of incubation support for the aspiring entrepreneurs of the state. Shri. H.K Borah, CIO, IIMCIP, encouraged the entrepreneurs of Cohort 1 & 2 to indulge in an interactive teambuilding activity.
After the lunch and networking session, some of the successful entrepreneurs of Assam Startup shared their respective experiences. Thereafter, Shri. Banangku Gabils Momin, founder of Garo Hills Development Foundation, Shri. Dilseng Sangma, founder of M/S Hills Products, and Shri. Semada Marak, founder of Seven Cherri Accessories, shared their success stories, focusing on their entrepreneurial journey for over a year with PRIME.
The Honourable Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri. Conrad K. Sangma felicitated the Cohort 1 Entrepreneurs with Certificates of Graduation and Cohort 2 Entrepreneurs with Certificates of On-boarding and cheques (1 lakh each for the Top-25 Entrepreneurs and 50,000 each for the next 25 Entrepreneurs). The entrepreneurs of Garo Hills were given free space at the venue of the event to set up stalls and display their products for sales and promotions.
