PRIME Meghalaya conducted the Chief Minister’s E-Championship Challenge 4.0 Pitch Orientation and Pitching for the Top 100 selected entrepreneurs of the Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi on the 15th and 16th of November, 2023 at MOCAHM, Shillong.
The Orientation program on Day 1 provided entrepreneurs with a comprehensive overview of PRIME’s Incubation program. Practical aspects, such as the signing of an MOU with PRIME, were discussed. Pankaj Baruah, a mentor from IIMCIP, delivered a session on pitching strategies, offering pragmatic tips for crafting compelling presentations. The entrepreneurs also submitted their MOUs, and networking sessions were marked by discussions on real-world challenges.
Day 2 marked the culmination of preparations as the Top 100 entrepreneurs presented their businesses to five panels of jurors. Divided into morning and afternoon batches, each panel, consisting of three jurors, evaluated 15 pitches. The focus was on the entrepreneurs’ ability to navigate the challenges of the business landscape. As entrepreneurs emerged from the jurors’ rooms, their expressions reflected the grit and determination required to face the rigorous evaluation. The event concluded with a sense of accomplishment, as participants had pushed their limits and demonstrated resilience.
