On November 27th and 28th, 2023, the Orientation and Pitching program for the Top 100 startups in the Garo Hills region was held at PRIME Hub, Tura. The first day provided entrepreneurs with insights into PRIME’s Incubation program, covering practical aspects like signing MOUs with PRIME. Pankaj Baruah, a mentor from IIMCIP, conducted a session on pitching strategies and shared practical tips for creating compelling presentations. Entrepreneurs submitted their MOUs, and networking sessions focused on discussing real-world challenges.
The second day marked the climax of preparations, with the Top 100 entrepreneurs presenting their businesses to three panels of jurors. Each entrepreneur showcased their unique products in morning and afternoon batches, with each panel of three jurors evaluating 15 pitches. The emphasis was on the entrepreneurs’ ability to navigate business challenges. As entrepreneurs exited the jurors’ rooms, their expressions revealed the determination needed to face the rigorous evaluation. The event concluded with a sense of accomplishment, highlighting how participants had pushed their limits and demonstrated resilience.
