Strengthening rural livelihoods through practical training!
PRIME Hub Shillong, in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Vocational Training Centre (VTC), successfully conducted a three-day training programme on piggery farming from 1st to 3rd December 2025 at the Veterinary Training Centre, Upper Shillong.
This hands-on programme equipped 16 farmers and SHG members with essential skills and best practices in piggery management, with full support from PRIME sponsorship.
The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, recognising the commitment and successful completion of all the trainees.
PRIME continues to support grassroots entrepreneurship and livelihood development across Meghalaya.
