India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 marked a proud moment for Meghalaya as the Meghalaya Pavilion was formally inaugurated on 16th November 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The inauguration was led by Hon’ble Speaker Shri Thomas A. Sangma, in the presence of Dr Andrew Simons, Commissioner & Secretary, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.

The pavilion highlighted Meghalaya’s entrepreneurial strength and cultural identity on one of India’s biggest national platforms.
The first batch of PRIME Meghalaya showcased seven entrepreneurs representing a rich blend of sectors such as handloom, handicrafts, food processing, pet services, traditional weaving, and indigenous products.
The entrepreneurs featured in this batch were:
– Crochet Haven
– Iohlynti Food Processing
– Pawsh Pallet
– M/s Blan Handloom & Handicraft
– Ri & Last Eri Silk Weaving & Dyeing Unit

The Meghalaya Pavilion attracted a significant number of visitors from across the country. Attendees interacted with the entrepreneurs, explored their products and appreciated the unique craftsmanship, creativity and innovation showcased by each enterprise.

From intricately woven handloom, Eri silk and handmade crafts to processed foods, indigenous beverages and new-age services like pet grooming — every stall reflected the talent and diversity of Meghalaya’s entrepreneurial community.
Participation in IITF 2025 offered valuable exposure for the entrepreneurs, helping them build networks, discover new market opportunities and share Meghalaya’s cultural and creative identity with national and international audiences.
