The Zero Interest Loan Facilitation Program is a lucrative initiative taken by the Government of Meghalaya in collaboration with Northeast Small Finance Bank to ease the access to credit. This particular program seeks to provide financial stability to the entrepreneurs of the state and motivate them to expand their businesses further.
Aspiring entrepreneurs of Meghalaya, who own food processing units and enterprises, were given the opportunity to apply for interest free and collateral free loans up to 10 lakhs. These loans are provided to the food processing entrepreneurs without any interest as the Government would be paying the interest on their behalf.
This profitable opportunity will allow the food processing entrepreneurs to expand their business endeavors without having to worry about finances anymore.
The program was held at the PRIME Hubs of Shillong and Tura. A team of experts from Northeast Small Finance Bank and PRIME team assisted the interested entrepreneurs who walked in seeking to learn more about the program or to apply for the loans.
